Cover for regular medical expenses of insured -The premium that is paid is used to create a fund which insured can start using from the sixth year onwards to cover routine health and medical related expenses over his/her entire life. These would include dental care, general practitioner fees and similar expenses. All insured has to do is to provide the company with a copy of the bills to get the amount reimbursed. Health Savings Benefit
This benefit entitles insured to claim reimbursement for health care expenses incurred by him/her from health fund. Some of the benefits covered under the health savings benefit are • Medicines and drugs
• Diagnostic expenses
• Dental expenses
• Co-pays or deductibles as part of the medical insurance cover
• Other miscellaneous medical expenses not covered under normal medical or health insurance
The benefit can be claimed after 3 completed years of the policy and is subject to the existing fund value as given below:
4th year & 5 year : 20% of Health fund
6th to 10th year : 50% of Health fund
11th year onwards : 100% of Health fund
