Micro Insurance
Individual policy covers individuals of age group between 5 years and 50years residing in places within India where the population as per the latest census of India does not exceed 5 lacks for treatments taken in any Hospital/ Nursing home as an in-patient within the Republic of India. |
|
Persons above 50 years may be covered subject to discretion of the company. Completed age of the individual will be taken into account for calculating the premium. |

Benefits:
Hospitalisation cover - In patient hospitalisation expenses for a minimum of 24 hours, includes room rent, boarding and nursing expenses with maximum limit of Rs.150/- per day subject to Rs. 5000/- per hospitalisation. |
|
Surgeon's fees, Consultant's fees, Anesthetist's fees upto a maximum of Rs. 4500/- per hospitalisation. |
|
Cost of blood, oxygen, diagnostic expenses, cost of pace-makers, artificial limbs, cost of medicines and drugs, etc subject to a maximum of Rs. 4500/- per hospitalisation. |
|
Emergency ambulance charges for transporting the insured patient @ Rs. 350/- pre hospitalisation and Rs. 1000/- per policy period. |
|
Total expenses payable under all heads are limited to Rs. 15000/- per hospitalisation and to Rs. 30000/- per policy period. |

What cannot be claimed : |
|
Expenses incured for treatment of any illness/disease/condition, which is pre-existing at the time of commencement of insurance. |
|
Any expenses incurred for treatment of illness/disease/sickness contracted by the insured person during the first 30 days from the commencement of the policy. |
|
First Year Exclusions - Hernia, Piles, Hydrocele, Congenital Internal disease/defect, Sinusities, Gall Stone / Renal Stone removal / treatment. |
|
Two Years Exclusions - Hysterectomy, Cataract, Knee Replacement Surgery (other than caused by accident), Joint Replacement Surgery (other than caused by accident), Prolapsed Intervertebral Disc, Varicose veins / ulcers. |

Naturopathy treatment |

Expenses, which are purelydiagnostic in nature with no positive existence of any disease. |

Expenses that are mainly cosmetic in nature |
|
Treatment arising from or traceable to pregnanacy, childbirth, miscarriage, abortion or complications or any of these including caesarian section. |
